In 2021, the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy (formerly the Ministry of Information and Communication Infrastructure) and representatives from key stakeholders in the public and civil society organizations joint forces to develop the National Cybersecurity Awareness Raising Guide 2021-2025.
The initiative was part of Activity 1 of the Cybersecurity Awareness Project, sponsored by UNESCO through the National Commission for UNESCO in The Gambia.
The National Guide, benchmarked from the ENISA Cybersecurity Awareness Raising Guide, serves as an instrumental tool for any entity aiming to embark on cybersecurity awareness-raising, particularly on a national scale.
