The Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy today convened a pivotal workshop at the SDJD -ICC to validate the Draft Digital Government Policy and Roadmap, which is a major milestone in The Gambia’s digital transformation journey.
This comprehensive and forward-thinking framework is designed to accelerate the digitalization of government services in line with Outcome 7.4 of the Recovery-Focused / Yiriwaa National Development Plan 2023-2027
The Policy and Road-map outlines strategic priorities to:
Strengthen digital infrastructure and interoperability Modernize public service delivery with a citizen-centric focus Enhance cybersecurity and data protection Foster digital literacy and inclusion Encourage innovation and adaptabilityThis high-level convergence is attended by the MDAs , Private Sector and Donor Community.
