This week, a multi-stakeholder workshop brought together government officials, mobile network operators, internet service providers, and more to validate these crucial documents.
This initiative, supported by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) based on request from MOCDE, ensures effective management of this crucial resource, paving the way for:
- Improved Connectivity – Reaching underserved and unserved areas with high-quality internet and communication services through more efficient and effective use and management of frequency spectrum.
- Economic Prosperity – Leveraging spectrum to drive innovation, job creation, and economic growth through 4G, 5G, and IoT technologies.
- Bridging the Digital Divide – Ensuring equitable access to services for all Gambians.
