Director of Cybersecurity

In May 2024, the Directorate of Loans and Debt Management in the Ministry of Finance established an Investor Relations Unit (IRU), committed to providing accurate and verified information on government borrowing and debt to the general public and financial markets. The IRU aims to improve communication with investors by providing key economic, financial, and policy information on debt management, obtaining market intelligence relevant to debt management, and developing and implementing funding strategies and broader financial sector policy.

The Investor Relations website serves as a single entry point to a wide range of information primarily disseminated by the Ministry of Finance Debt Management Office. The objectives of the IRU are to control the flow of information between investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to lower the costs and risks of the country’s debt, maintain contact with market participants to address concerns and questions regarding recent debt and economic developments and policies and maintain a website dedicated to providing current debt and macroeconomic statistics and policy information related to fiscal, monetary, and debt management policies.

Welcome to the GFCE Knowledge Modules! They are aimed at increasing the understanding of African stakeholders of the value of cyber capacity building and providing valuable information of relevance for their country/region. The KMs cover but are not limited to key areas aligned to the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise’s (GFCE) Global Agenda for Cyber Capacity Building: Cyber security policy & strategy, Incident management & infrastructure protection, Cybercrime, Cyber security culture & skills, and Cyber security standards.

The KMs and their components can be used for both self-paced online courses and repositories, and face-to-face events and webinars. In addition to background text, the KMs include visuals, video material, reflection points and other interactive elements that provide a foundation for understanding cybersecurity.
